Turnaround

We strive to complete quality work as efficiently as possible. Turnaround times are based on project scope and current demand, and will be confirmed with the client before the project begins. Delays may occur if payment or required content is not submitted in a timely manner.

Payments

Full payment is required before any design work begins, unless otherwise agreed upon. In select cases, a deposit may be accepted at our discretion, with a clear agreement on the remaining balance and payment schedule. Invoices are valid for 10 business days unless stated otherwise.

Revisions

Revisions vary by project and will be outlined prior to payment. Any revisions beyond the agreed amount will require an additional fee. New edits will not begin until the added fee is received.

Printing & Shipping

For design-only projects, clients are responsible for any downstream printing or production. DBL is not liable for errors after final approval is given. Printed items are fulfilled by third-party vendors. Clients must contact the courier for shipping-related issues. Please review all files carefully before

printing.

Artwork Copyright

All designs created by DBL Design Agency are exclusive to the client once final payment is made. We reserve the right to display completed projects in our portfolio, marketing materials, and website. PSD/AI (raw) files are not included in project delivery. If needed, these can be purchased at 4 times the project cost.

Refunds

We are committed to delivering designs that meet your expectations. However, due to the custom nature of our work, no refunds are issued once a project has begun. If concerns arise, we will do our best to resolve them within the original project scope.

Delays

Delays caused by illness, emergencies, holidays, internet issues, or client inaction (e.g., late content or approvals) may impact project timelines. Clients are expected to communicate and deliver necessary materials promptly to avoid delays.

Project Rejection

DBL reserves the right to decline any project that does not align with our values or brand integrity (e.g., explicit, offensive, or unethical content). Clients will be notified if a project is declined and provided with a brief explanation.

Project Abandonment

If a client is unresponsive for 30 consecutive days, the project will be marked as abandoned. A restart fee may be required to resume work. DBL reserves the right to close the project and retain any payments made to date.

Communication

All official communication should be conducted via email or through our HoneyBook client portal. Timely responses are essential for keeping projects on track.

File Storage

Final design files will be available for download upon project completion. DBL will store files in a Dropbox folder for up to 60 days. Retrieval after that period may not be possible or may incur a fee.

Scope of Work

Work requested outside of the original project scope will require additional fees and timeline

adjustments. Any changes will be reviewed and confirmed with the client before proceeding.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing all necessary content, direction, and feedback in a timely manner. Clear communication helps ensure a smooth and successful project.

Artistic Release & Creative Direction

At DBL, we take pride in our signature style and creative judgment. By hiring us, clients

acknowledge that they've reviewed our portfolio and trust our expertise. While we do our best to incorporate reasonable client feedback, we maintain final say over the aesthetic direction of each project.

Graphic design is a creative and subjective process. If a client provides limited direction (e.g., "do your thing"), we'll proceed using our professional judgment. Major overhauls based on a change in taste or vision after delivery are considered redos, not revisions, and may require additional fees.
